Rosterfy is proud to announce a new partnership with Guide Dogs Queensland, who have selected Rosterfy as their volunteer management solution. This collaboration will enable Guide Dogs Queensland to scale its volunteer program and extend its reach to support more Queenslanders living life with low vision or blindness to live a life of independence and inclusion.
This follows the recent announcement that Guide Dogs NSW has also selected Rosterfy to support their volunteer program.
With plans to grow their volunteer base by more than 150% over the next two years, Guide Dogs Queensland was seeking a fit for purpose solution built to manage complex volunteer operations across multiple locations. After a comprehensive evaluation of more than 20 platforms, Rosterfy emerged as the clear choice — delivering on both the need for operational efficiency and an elevated volunteer experience.
The team at Guide Dogs Queensland plan to utilise Rosterfy’s unique two way Salesforce integration to ensure that their CRM and VMS data are centralised, with consistency across both platforms without the need for manual updates across multiple systems.
Cassy Dove, Volunteer Services Manager for Guide Dogs Queensland said, “At Guide Dogs Queensland we’re fortunate to have a team of 800 volunteers who are engaged across multiple locations throughout Queensland fulfilling multiple roles that genuinely make a huge impact to our community. We felt strongly that it was our responsibility to ensure that our volunteers were being presented with a world class volunteer experience and Rosterfy is going to allow us to do just that.”
“No matter where you’re volunteering, Guide Dog Queensland volunteers will now enjoy a consistent volunteer experience and with the ability to now track our volunteers contributions, we’re looking forward to rewarding and recognising them in new and exciting ways.” Dove continued.
In addition to a consistent and engaging volunteer experience, Guide Dogs Queensland wanted to ensure that the volunteer management software that they used was accessible to those living with low vision or blindness. Rosterfy’s integration with UserWay, will allow Guide Dogs to deliver an inclusive and accessible experience for volunteers of all abilities with the ability to offer screen readers, text-to-speech software, and magnification tools.
Guide Dogs Queensland will utilise Rosterfy’s end to end automations to help streamline operations and deliver a more engaging volunteer experience. A particular focus will be on volunteer onboarding, where the team will look to create custom onboarding specific to each role, ensuring a more streamlined experience for volunteers, whilst also delivering on compliance.
With a single source of truth for their volunteer data, Guide Dogs Queensland will now also have access to data like never before. This data will enable them to report on impact more effectively, supporting program improvement as well as supporting future funding efforts.
“We’re thrilled to be supporting Guide Dogs Queensland and Guide Dogs NSW on their journey to scale one of the most recognised and valued volunteer programs in the country,” said Shannan Gove, Co-Founder of Rosterfy. “Together, we’ll ensure every volunteer has a meaningful experience while supporting the vital work that Guide Dogs do for the community.”
With Rosterfy already trusted by major organisations and not for profits worldwide, this collaboration underscores the platform’s growing reputation as the go-to solution for mission-driven organisations seeking to streamline and scale their volunteer operations.
