VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT

Anglicare selects Rosterfy to power its volunteer management across community, mission, and aged care programs

Anglicare partners with Rosterfy to enhance volunteer management, streamline processes, and improve volunteer experience across community and aged care programs.

Rosterfy, leaders in volunteer management software, are proud to announce that Anglicare Sydney will use their platform to streamline and enhance volunteer engagement across its wide-ranging community, mission, and aged care services.

With more than 1,550 volunteers supporting multiple business units, Anglicare plays a vital role in delivering essential care and support services to communities across the region. Volunteers contribute across diverse areas including palliative care, aged care visiting programs, retirement village support, op shop assistance, food and financial assistance, factory and hamper packing, disaster recovery, and financial advocacy.

“Our volunteers are the heart of Anglicare’s mission. Whether they’re providing companionship to residents, assisting in our shops and community programs, or helping those affected by disasters, their impact is immense,” said Jennifer Werakso, Volunteer Services Manager at Anglicare. “We wanted a volunteer management system that truly reflects our commitment to having simpler and stronger processes — and Rosterfy was the perfect fit.”

Enhancing volunteer experience through automation and accessibility

Anglicare identified Rosterfy’s automation, scalability, and functionality as key advantages in improving both efficiency and volunteer experience. The move will enable Anglicare to centralise volunteer data, streamline background checks, and automate onboarding processes — helping the organisation to spend less time on administration and more time supporting its people and communities.

Rosterfy’s volunteer mobile app was another major drawcard and will support volunteers — many of whom are mature aged seniors  — to access information, updates, and communications from their smartphones. This accessibility aims to increase volunteer ownership, connection and engagement, helping every volunteer feel recognised and well informed.

“We’re excited to bring Rosterfy to Anglicare,” added Werakso. “The ability to tailor onboarding workflows to different roles, automate screening and background checks, and offer mobile access means we can deliver a more personal, empowering experience for applicants and volunteers."

Supporting compliance and personalised onboarding

Anglicare’s volunteer program includes rigorous screening processes such as referee checks, Police or NDIS Worker Screening Checks, and Working with Children Checks. With Rosterfy, Anglicare can automate these workflows and create role-specific onboarding journeys to ensure volunteers meet compliance standards while enjoying a smoother, more personalised introduction to the organisation.

“Rosterfy is thrilled to partner with Anglicare to support their mission of compassion and community service,” said Shannan Gove, Co Founder, Rosterfy. “By simplifying administration and empowering volunteers with digital tools, Anglicare can continue to focus on what matters most — delivering care and connection to those who need it most.”

A commitment to volunteers, a focus on impact

Anglicare’s volunteers are considered a vital part of its workforce, contributing impact to programs that enrich lives and strengthen communities. Through Rosterfy, Anglicare will continue to recognise and support its volunteers, creating a more connected and rewarding experience for everyone involved.
