The PANDAS Foundation, the UK’s leading perinatal mental health charity, has selected Rosterfy to streamline volunteer recruitment, training, and engagement – enhancing the experience for more than 150 dedicated volunteers supporting parents and carers nationwide.
Rosterfy, leaders in volunteer management software, are proud to announce this new partnership with The PANDAS Foundation, a charity providing vital mental health support to parents and carers from conception, through birth, and beyond.
Supporting a growing volunteer programme
Through a network of fully trained volunteers, The PANDAS Foundation delivers a range of essential peer-support services, including WhatsApp support, a helpline callback service, weekly online support calls, and face-to-face peer support groups. As the charity grows, the need for a more connected and accessible volunteer management system became increasingly important.
Volunteers apply through the charity’s website and progress through shortlisting, interviews, and mandatory training before supporting families through PANDAS’ services. Until now, much of this journey was managed across multiple systems – including website, Zoom, WhatsApp, and SharePoint – a complex for volunteers and administrators alike.
Why Rosterfy?
Initially the team at PANDAS were seeking a new online training portal. During their research, it became clear that a system like Rosterfy could benefit both the organisation and its volunteers in many ways beyond training alone.
After reviewing seven different providers, The PANDAS Foundation chose Rosterfy as the standout solution. The platform’s ability to centralise volunteer recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing engagement aligned closely with the charity’s goals of efficiency, accessibility, and volunteer care.
“Rosterfy stood out for us as the clear winner. One easy-to-navigate system that can handle not just our training, but also our community and recruitment was really appealing to us. We can see it being easier for volunteers to navigate and also an efficient time saver for us generally in our work.”
Sally Bunkham, Director of Communications & Partnerships and Interim CEO at The PANDAS Foundation
Looking ahead: a seamless volunteer experience
With Rosterfy, The PANDAS Foundation will provide volunteers with a smoother, more user-friendly experience – enabling them to complete training at times that suit them, access vital information easily and feel supported as part of a connected community.
Bringing systems together and automating key processes will allow the PANDAS team to focus more time on supporting parents and carers during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
“Our main goal is for an easier to navigate system for our volunteers, enabling a seamless, user-friendly journey with PANDAS from the moment they apply with us. We’re looking forward to having one system, saving us time and becoming more efficient.”
Sally Bunkham, Director of Communications & Partnerships and Interim CEO at The PANDAS Foundation
