Renewed partnership builds on three years of automation and volunteer engagement supporting Disability Sports Australia’s work across Australia.

Rosterfy, the world’s leading volunteer management platform, is proud to announce that Disability Sports Australia (DSA) has renewed its partnership, reaffirming Rosterfy as Disability Sports Australia’s volunteer management solution as the organisation continues increasing participation opportunities for people with disability across Australia.”

Since partnering with Rosterfy in 2023, Disability Sports Australia has built a national volunteer program that has already engaged 391 registered volunteers, created 176 volunteer opportunities, supported the completion of 177 volunteer shifts and contributed more than 620 volunteer hours across Australia.

The renewed partnership builds on three years of growth, with volunteers playing an important role in helping Disability Sports Australia create opportunities for people with disability to participate in sport.

As demand for DSA’s programs continues to grow, the partnership will ensure volunteers can continue to be recruited, onboarded, trained and supported through a single national platform.

Since implementing Rosterfy, Disability Sports Australia has transformed the way it recruits, screens, trains and manages volunteers across its national network, significantly reducing manual administration while creating a more consistent, accessible and engaging volunteer experience.

As a National Sporting Organisation, Disability Sports Australia is focused on increasing participation in sport for people with disability. Volunteers support this work across programs, events and initiatives that connect people with disability with sport and strengthen the capability of the broader sporting system.

Through Rosterfy’s centralised platform, DSA can manage volunteer screening, Working with Children Checks, online training, communications and ongoing compliance. This supports safe and accessible volunteering while helping the organisation meet its safeguarding and integrity obligations.

An easy decision!

“Renewing our partnership with Rosterfy was an easy decision. Over the past three years, the platform has become an integral part of how we recruit, onboard and support volunteers across Australia.

“By automating many of our manual processes, our team can spend more time supporting volunteers, delivering quality programs and creating more opportunities for people with disability to participate in sport.

“As our organisation continues to grow, we know we have a platform that can scale with us.”

Ayden Shaw Chief Executive Officer of Disability Sports Australia

The renewal also reinforces Rosterfy’s growing presence across Australia’s sporting sector, where national sporting organisations are increasingly adopting purpose-built volunteer management technology to improve operational efficiency, strengthen safeguarding and better support volunteers.

Proud to continue supporting DSA

"Disability Sports Australia has always been focused on creating inclusive opportunities for Australians with disability, and volunteers are at the heart of making that mission possible.

"We're incredibly proud to continue supporting the team as they build on the success of the past three years. Together we're helping reduce administration through automation, strengthen volunteer compliance and create a volunteer experience that encourages people to stay engaged and connected to the incredible work DSA delivers."

Bennett Merriman Co-Founder and CEO of Rosterfy

The renewed partnership ensures Disability Sports Australia has the systems needed to support the continued growth of its national volunteer program while maintaining high standards of volunteer engagement, accessibility, safeguarding and compliance.
