Victoria Davy, Head of Volunteering at Blind Low Vision NZ
Victoria Davy is a senior leader and strategist with a passion for driving community impact. As the Head of Volunteering at Blind Low Vision NZ, Victoria leads the Centre of Excellence National Volunteer Team. As the developer and owner of the Blind Low Vision NZ Volunteer Strategy, Victoria champions the sustainable delivery of nationwide volunteer services through strategic innovation and people-first change management. A Certified Professional Coach, she specialises in connecting individuals to their purpose, building high-performing teams, and has successfully led growth and cultural transformation across organisations in the not-for-profit sector. Victoria believes that leadership strength lies in a shared vision, transparent delivery plans, collaboration, and empowering people to execute meaningful strategies.
With an extensive background spanning both the private corporate sector and major not-for-profit organisations, including leadership roles at GirlGuiding New Zealand, and running her own coaching practice with a global client base, Victoria has a proven track record of successfully guiding organisations through complex change initiatives. Her leadership style is deeply rooted in vision, delivery, respect, kindness, and empowerment, with a specialised focus on building collaborative “one-team” cultures that bridge the gap between staff and volunteer networks. Victoria is passionate about transforming volunteer ecosystems to create lasting, positive community impact.
Victoria Davy, Volunteer Experience Partner at Blind Low Vision NZ
Sarah Marriott’s background spans workplace wellbeing, community engagement, and project and programme management across creative, health, and disability sectors. She worked at VFX giant Wētā FX for 10 years as the Wellbeing Manager before moving into the not-for-profit space, leading programmes at Nuku Ora and Te Awakairangi Health Network. She is also a Yoga teacher of 10 years and former business owner, who is passionate about work that contributes to positive social change, strong community culture, connection, and wellbeing. Backed by a degree in health science (psychology), her approach is evidence-informed, people-centred, and grounded in equity.
As a Volunteer Experience Partner at Blind Low Vision NZ, and a member of the National Volunteer Team Centre of Excellence, she works to strengthen volunteer engagement, culture, and experience across their 1300+ volunteer community. Her work includes the co-design and delivery of volunteer acknowledgement and recognition frameworks and initiatives, and translating strategy into meaningful operational delivery through authentic engagement, partnership, and continuous improvement.
