Anna Taylor is a dedicated and results-driven non-profit leader with a wealth of experience managing high-impact volunteer programs across major Australian healthcare and community institutions. Currently, she serves as the Manager of Volunteer Services at Very Special Kids, a premier Australian non-profit and the home of Victoria’s only children’s hospice. The organisation provides holistic palliative care for Victorian children and young people with life-limiting conditions, offering free emotional, clinical, and practical support to families through life, death, and bereavement. In her role, Anna oversees strategic volunteer onboarding, scheduling, and compliance to support these critical palliative care and family services.
With a career spanning over a decade in the Not-For-Profit (NFP) and healthcare sectors, Anna is passionate about creating the strong foundations, structures, and systems that empower volunteers to do what they do best – support community. By combining strategic program design and leveraging digital transformation to enhance the volunteer experience. Her background includes managing large-scale volunteer operations at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and driving house operations for Ronald McDonald House Charities Victoria & Tasmania. Anna is an advocate for “Tech for Good,” championing purpose-built volunteer management systems that empower community engagement and streamline organisational efficiency.
