OUR STORY
How it started
When founders Bennett Merriman and Shannan Gove finished university, they, like many graduates, struggled to find meaningful work experience. Rather than feeling discouraged, they turned that challenge into motivation.
They launched their own staffing company, Event Workforce (now Spark Event Group), to connect enthusiastic university students with real-world work opportunities across Australia.
As Event Workforce expanded, the founders quickly realised spreadsheets could no longer support their growing pool of volunteers and casual staff. Together with their friend Chris Grant, they built an online platform to manage workforce and volunteer operations. That platform became Rosterfy.
Today, Rosterfy partners with some of the world’s leading organisations to streamline volunteer management and help teams deliver exceptional impact.
