Rosterfy Mobile App - Volunteer User Guide

Below is a step-by-step guide for Volunteers to access the Rosterfy Mobile App.


Step 1: Download the Rosterfy App

The Rosterfy app is available on iOS and Android devices.

Minimum device requirements:

  • Android version 5 or later
  • iOS version 13.0 or later


Step 2:  Register for a Rosterfy Community account

To access the Rosterfy app, users will first need to create a Rosterfy Community account.
Note - if you register using a different email address to the email registered with your existing Rosterfy account you will be able to utilise the account linking feature to join the accounts together.

There are several ways you can Register;

  • Entering an email address to receive a magic link

Or use a social login:

  • Google
  • Facebook
  • Apple

The Rosterfy app is password-less, meaning you don't need to remember another password.

Step 3: Share your location and enable notifications

For the best app experience, it is recommended that location sharing is enabled. This will help personalise the experience for app users. Similarly, enabling notifications will enable the user to receive push notifications.


Step 4: Select an account

As a volunteer, if you have previously registered with the email addressed used to create a Rosterfy Community account, the system will find and present any accounts linked to that email address.

The user can then select an account to login to.

The user will then be taken to the portal dashboard of the account selected.

Note - app users will see and have access to Rosterfy Community - this is a seperate area of the app where users can access a marketplace of volunteering opportunities from various organisations. This is currently a work-in-progress and will be available from late 2024.
